Mark Gallegos founded Nexus Contract Solutions after nearly two decades in Private Industry and with a Department of Energy M&O Contractor. During his time in Industry, Mark has served as a Contract Specialist, Senior Cost/Price Analyst and a Contracts Compliance Specialist. Mark’s expertise includes Contract Development and Management, Cost and Price Analysis, Indirect Rate Development and Application, Provisional and Forward Pricing Rate Packages, Compliance, File Remediation, Commercial and Non-Commercial Items, GSA Multiple Award Schedules.
Mark has a very clear understanding of the Federal Governments Procurement Processes/Workflow, Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS). As a Government Contracts Pricing Expert, he is very well versed in Allowable and Unallowable Costs, Direct vs. Indirect Costs, as well as Commercial and Non- Commercial Items. He has a tremendous amount of experience in contract proposal evaluation and preparation in all Industry Focus.
Mark has a real passion for helping organizations succeed in their chosen industry. During his time in Government, Mark participated in the sites Mentor/Protege Program (DOE MPP) designed to enhance the abilities and successes of Small Businesses competing in the Government Contracts Marketplace. Mark successfully mentored numerous small businesses who have since completed the program and now successfully compete for and manage Government Contract Awards. Mark works with both Prime Contractors and Subcontractors and is always happy to provide his expert insights to organizations big and small.

How We Connect With You:
When a client contacts us for support, we provide this by collaborating with your organization or project team on the specific task. A-needs assessment is conducted on the desired outcome using the information provided. Once the initial needs assessment is completed, a resolution strategy is identified and presented to the client. Once the strategized approach has been accepted, the project is bench marked with milestones and an estimated date of completion is identified. Communication is maintained through out the entire process. Once the final work product is near completion, the client will receive a full debrief and will be provided with copies of documents (draft) generated for the specific task. Examples of this may include written reports with professional opinions as well as pricing schedules and summaries with our recommended positions. Once the debrief has been completed and our recommendations are accepted by the client, the final work package is delivered shortly there-after. Support will continue to be provided to the client as deemed necessary. Our services are secured via our Consulting Agreement.
